About

The Blog:

Words With You has been created to help, inspire, and entertain writers, readers, and friends.
Here, you'll find posts about queries, books, authors, me, tea, and a bunch of other things that pertain to writing . . . or to my life.
It's all the same, right?

The idea of this blog is to follow me, a young writer, as I journey into the world of publishing houses, literary agencies, other blogs, and authors. I want to keep track of these milestones in my life because if I'm doing something right, I want to be able to share exactly what I did with you.

My gift? Words. Pass it on, my friends.
Pass it on.

The Author:

It's Britney Chardonnay.

Yup. It's a mouthful, I know.

However, it's not everyday that I'm given an opportunity to share who I am with people around the world.

In other terms, I'd like to say that I'm a simple person--but that would be a simple lie:

I like cold green tea, passion tea, mint tea, lemonade and tea--anything tea.

I love thunderstorms.

I'm a vegetarian.

I want a fat cat someday that enjoys wearing clothes.

I am the middle child of two siblings.

I taught myself how to play the piano, and the guitar, though I may not be very good at either.

I'm good with my fingers: painting, drawing, pottery.

I have somehow transformed into an extrovert--yeah, I don't know how that happened.

I'm a proud Kansan--yes, I use the word ya'll.

I am a communications major.

My birthday is February 28th. My sister's is Feb. 29th, and my nephew's is Feb. 27

I love laughing until I cry.

And I could probably eat cereal for the rest of my life.

I've always been a fan of words. They're the warm slippery stuff that runs through my veins and shoots to my heart.

I tend to write in a contemporary format that focuses on aspects of realism. My goal in writing is to portray every human emotion possible. I feel it's the emotion that draws the reader to the page and pushes them to the end.

I have completed two books and am working on a third/fourth. Like any modern day writer, I'd love to get published. But honestly, if I'm able to get my work out there in some way, shape, or form, then that's enough for me.
Words are meant to be shared with people, not locked in a box.

I hope that my words are able to stick with you.

Maybe they'll help you find what you're looking for.
